Sex and the City : And YOU!

Love, laughter, freedom, and friendship. A life that consists of not only passion and happiness but also the most exquisite clothes, delectable shoes and delicious secrets. Men play a role…as a accessory. See a man can wine and dine you but in the end only you can define yourself. And although each woman in Sex and the City went through complicated relationships and along with them underwent a positive growth/self realization process. Sometimes the woman may have tried to compliment their partner but they never compromised the essence of themselves. Smart move, because after all in the end the only person you have to be credible too is yourself. I’ll be honest, I used to wish I was strolling down 5th avenue in my manolo blahniks meeting the girls, Samantha, Carrie, and Charlotte for tea. But when you think about it….have you ever wondered what it is that makes it so easy to relate to these women? Well maybe it’s because we already have these women in our lives – we are these women.

Carrie

Maybe your Carrie with a large heart and the special gift of being able to view the world in the most romantic of ways. You are the core of both your family and your friendships. You feel a deep connection to all that is around you and live a life full of passion – often using your heart as a guide for navigating through the complexities of life. Your honest love for life inspires others and reveals the true beauty that can be found.

Miranda

 Or maybe you are Miranda. You are a career woman who carries a deep sense of family and all your decisions are carefully contemplated. The aurora that you are surrounds you is both classy and seductive. You may be slightly more private then Carrie but underneath the tough exterior that is shown to others  is a soft vulnerable soul with a deep loyalty and compassion for those closest to you.

Charlotte

 Charlotte is both sweet and loyal and maybe it is in her you can see a reflection of yourself. You strive to make your dreams of fairytale life a perfect reality. And thrive off of the happiness of others. You are a gentle soul who brings both class and elegance to every situation. You are the stable one, the one that family and friends also feel that can count on. And your beautiful dreams inspire others to see the beauty of life.

 Samantha

Or maybe you are Samantha. You treasure the gift of freedom and carry a deep loyalty for the ones that you care about – including yourself.You refuse to be defined by society and never hesitate to take on a challenge and continue to stay true to yourself and hold fast to your freedom. Your strong sense of self draws a mixture of enviousness and admiration from others. If there was a way to define you it would be summed up in the following three words: “sexy, confident and fabulous” .

Do you recognize yourself in these women? And maybe your not just one of these women. Maybe you are a combination of all of them. All of these women are different but beautiful and it is interesting because if you look at the above women you can see that by focusing on themselves and taking care of themselves they then inspired and helped others. And often as women we tend to turn it around and think that once we have fixed everyone else we then can fix ourselves. And that we do not have any option expect to fix others first. Whether you see yourself in the women listed above or if you hope to see yourself in them above.It is possible to live out your own “Sex in the City” story.  In order to inspire others, to really help them, and to also be able to create a life that you want it starts with you. Not the next person, not your to-do list, and not the “immediate” situations of others, but beautiful YOU! You are beautiful, gorgeous, strong… and most of all you are worth it .
